Cute Katy

I would like to introduce you to Cute Katy. I sewed her together from a pattern and using felt material. I then stuffed her, and sewed on the decorations, and made her hair. I also drew her face. This is the first time I have learned to sew with a needle and thread.
I love her orange hair - it looks so beautiful. I also love the little heart and flowers on her dress. She has cute little blue shoes.
Isn't she so cute? And this is how she became my beautiful doll.

My WILD Safari card

I was in the mood to make another card at Granny's house, and I liked this digistamp that Granny drew called "Big mouth" and you can find it in her store at Digistamps4Joy.
I coloured the hippo in with alcohol pens using grey, brown, and pink. The background papers are 'safari-like' and I found them in Granny's packet of brown scrap papers. Hope you like my card.

Best Friends Forever

I made this card for my best friend Yolandi to thank her for being my friend.  Best friends always stick together and always give a helping hand.  I coloured in this Digistamp callled Trendy Two with my Granny's pencil crayons.  I used her Cuttlebug to diecut the star shape, I added lots of stickers.

Hope you like it.

I WON!!!

I am sooo excited because my first Christmas card (the one with the snowman on the wreath) WON a soooper-doooper prize at the Send a Smile for Kids challenge!! What did I win??

10 digital or cutting files from Scrapping Memories
In fact the kind owner of the challenge blog sent me 2 extra files - just because!!!

Granny says she will now teach me how to use her Cricut machine, but I must remember NOT to put my fingers inside the machine! I can't wait, and my next card is definitely going to have one of my new prize images on it!

Thank you so much Scrapping Memories for the wonderful prize, and Send a Smile for Kids for the lovely challenge, and choosing me!!!

My first Christmas card

I love making cards at my granny's house as she has so many things I can use, so I have made a card for Christmas that I will be giving to one of my school friends closer to the time. The image I coloured in is an image that my granny drew last year, and it is in her shop (Digistamps4Joy) and is called "Christmas wreath snowman". I used my granny's water colour pencils to colour it in, then glued the image onto a paper tea doiley. The background card is a free sample that came with one of my granny's magazines, so all I did was add some sequins and glitter to make the snow sparkle.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Krafty hands Challenge - Christmas in November
Sweet stampin challenge - all that glitters
Send a smile for kids - happy holiday
Christmas stampin all year - anything goes

Bye, and I hope you like my card.
ABBY (9 yrs)

Another card

Hello, this is Abby (9 years old). I made another card at Granny's house today, with an image she drew (Digistamps4Joy) of her cat called Caleb, who is unfortunately not with her anymore. Caleb was a tabby cat so had grey, black and brown fur colours, and I tried to use those colours with the watercolour pencils. I also punched out 2 different sized hearts, and added a sequin heart on top.  This is a good reminder of Caleb as he used to lie on granny's keyboard just like this.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Challenges for Everybody - anything goes
Corrosive challanges - animal companions
Gingerloft - embossing

Bye, and I hope you like my card.
